Week Four
Random acts of kindness
supplies:
-
Depends on what you choose to do!
Instructions
-
Jesus calls us to love our neighbors, so make it a point to perform at least one random act of kindness every day this week.
-
There are so many things you can do, but here are some ideas to get you started:
-
Give up your spot in line to someone else
-
Donate canned food to a local food pantry
-
Smile at someone
-
Hold the door open for the person behind you
-
Donate pet supplies to a local animal shelter
-
Help your sibling or your parents with a chore
-
Pick up litter in your neighborhood park
-
Make and send Christmas cards to a local nursing home
-
Go Christmas caroling with our family
-
“Candy Cane Bomb” a parking lot: attach a candy cane to a card that says “Merry Christmas! Jesus Loves You!” and put them on windshields in a store parking lot.
-
Leave a happy note for someone to find
-
Give your parents, grandparents, or siblings a hug for no reason
-
Take Christmas cookies to your area police or fire department
-
Leave surprise Christmas cookies on a neighbor’s porch (try to leave it on their porch without getting
caught—surprise cookies are the best!) -
Give a family member a compliment, tell them the nicest thing they have done for you, what you think their best quality is, or why you think they are awesome
-
Invite someone who is sitting alone in the cafeteria to come join you and your friends for lunch
